Me and Simon are going to a basket class. We've been going since the first Tuesday of November and will continue every Tuesday till we leave. One day after class we decided to go to the cafe there. There was the Hurkelies, Tarzan, and the Flash menu. Me and Simon order pasta from Tarzan menu but it was horrible! The food tasted like plastic the only things that were good were the juices! Also the waiter brought us orange juice, when we specifically asked for grape fruit juice! Luckily mom brought money for ice cream.
I'm feeling okay but surprisingly I hit my head three times in a row two weeks ago.
NUMBER 1 The first time was with Rick. I hit my head on a big tree branch. I didn't see the branch so I stood up and hit my head but there's no scrape or bruise. NUMBER 2 The second time I was on a rope in a playground swinging. I swung right in to a pole. I am okay though. No scars, no nothing. NUMBER 3 The last time I hit it on the door knob. That is all but they still all hurt. I am okay. My head's hard as rock. In school we just finished reading a book called Sadako. The story takes place in Japan, so what are some are similarities and differences about Japan and Canada? Although we all wear clothes, in Japan, some people wear a special kind of robe called a Kimono. Here is a picture of a Kimono I found on the internet. Although in Canada we have maple syrup, in Japan, their traditional food is bean cakes and rice balls. So we all eat food but the kinds of foods we eat might be different. Since I and Simon don't have a french class here we have a tutor. The tutor's name is Catherine and she comes every Wednesday with a lot of fun! We've studied animals, feelings, days of the week, months of the year, seasons, and there's more to come. She also tries to teach us Spanish. Right now our homework is to watch the french alphabet on YouTube. I think she is a great french teacher!
I am writing a review for Nature's Friends by Bumblebeembie. It is an app about nature. It tells stories that show ways to help clean the environment. You can do puzzles, matching games, and more! I think it's a great app apart from the fact that I am to old for it. I think it is for ages 5-7 because the colouring sheets are simple and the activity sheets are not challenging enough for 9-year-olds. If I had a little brother or sister I would get this app for them because they would probably like the colouring sheets and the games, and if it was a bit challenging, I could help them. Nature's Friends is an educational app that is also fun for young children. So if you are a little kid who likes nature this app is for you! We read a book called A DAYS WORK.
It's about a boy helping his grandfather find work. When they find work find work they work hard but they mess up. Ben gets mad at them. (He is there boss.) When grandfather asks what did we do?, The grandson said I lied to get work, but the grandson learned his lesson, not to lie! They would come tomorrow and fix it. Have you ever learned something hard? What was it? LEAVE A COMMENT. Yesterday we went to a Halloween party for English-speaking people here in Buenos Aires. We brought our pumpkin that we carved. Once everybody got there we went trick-or-treating. There was lots of candy including chocolate frogs, carrots and more. CANDY, CANDY, CANDY! There were cool costumes including Sick Barney, Spider-man , and more. Spider-man gave me a paper bat because I was Batman. Jinny from Harry Potter had a bowl of fish eyes with jems waiting at the bottom for anyone who was brave enough to put their hand into the jar. Halloween was fun and I hope our pumpkin had fun too! |
