Springtime in Beunos Aires is a beautiful thing! Among my favourite plants here are a species of tree with purple "leaves" (I think they are blossoms which will probably be replaced with green leaves as spring turns to summer) -- they are in full bloom right now along all the major Avenidas... We decided to spend this beautiful day in Recoleta, to visit the cemetary and see where Eva Peron rests.
But not before we stayed to show our support at a solidarity concert in the park (one of several drumming and other musical events that were held around the world today) for the Greenpeace Activists being detained in Russia.

We were also lucky enough to catch the Sunday-under-the-massive-tree Tango show next to the craft market. I soooo love to watch the dancers there, and the boys (especially Alex) are becoming increasingly intrigued with this national phenomenon as well.
