Delta finally responded to our letters about two weeks ago and they decided that they would give everybody in the incident vouchers for another flight with Delta but the problem was . . .
These vouchers expire in one year and we don't have time to go on another flight within this time. Besides who would want to fly with Delta again after this experience? So after that, Mom sent an email complaining about how would anyone want to fly with Delta again. In a few days we got our response and it said . . . ok we'll give you several thousands of Skymiles instead which is actually not a lot but it was still exciting. A week later we went on the website and looked at stuff we could buy. There was a lot of chocolate and wine glasses but we could buy barely anything in the shop because everything was so expensive. In the end we decided to get some chocolate and backpacks.
Delta did nice things but they made more mistakes and I don't think they'll ever learn how bad that thing they did was.
